Personal Background
Kaori Ashizu was educated at Kyoto University (B.A. and M.A.). After working at Otani University for 10 years, she moved to Kobe University in 2010. She spent a year at the Shakespeare Institute (University of Birmingham) in 1991-2, and was a research associate at the University of Oxford in1999-2000. PhD in English Literature, Kyoto University, 2021.
