MIYASHITA Kikuro, (Professor) [Webpage] [KUID]
Personal Background
Born in Nagoya in 1963. He graduated and obtained a master’s degree in art history at the University of Tokyo. He was a curator at Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Modern Art in Kobe, and at Museum of Contemporary Art in Tokyo. In 2005, he was awarded the Suntory Prize for Social Sciences and Humanities for his book, Caravaggio: Sacrality and Vision (The University of Nagoya Press).
