Personal Background
Sayaka Okumura joined the Faculty in October 2010 after two years as a lecturer at Fukui Prefectural University. She did her BA and MA at Kyoto University; and she completed her PhD in English at the University of York in 2007 with a thesis concerning Virginia Woolf’s experimentation with material motifs in her fiction.
