Personal Background
HIRAI Shoko received Ph.D. (2002) in Japanese Studies from The Graduate University for Advanced Studies. She was a research fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science from 1999 to 2005. In 2007, she became a member of Kobe University.
