Mission Statement of the School of Humanities

The goal of the School of Humanities is to nurture talent that can respond to the needs and challenges of contemporary society. Throughout, the school carries on fulfilling the classical role of the humanities, by offering students a wide range of programs and by helping them pursue their own academic interests.

Admissions Policy

Graduate School Master’s Course

The Graduate School of Humanities is seeking the following kinds of students for its Master’s Course:
Motivated individuals who have an interest in the various fields of the humanities, who are not bound by worn doctrines, but who have a passion to discover and pursue challenges on their own.
Individuals who aspire to become scholars with a deep understanding of their own field and eagerness to develop it academically.
Persons who have a desire to develop their own research in relation to society.

Graduate School Doctoral Course

The Graduate School of Humanities is seeking the following kinds of strongly motivated individuals for its Doctoral Course:
Novice scholars who take a keen interest in the humanities, and who are not stifled by narrowly defined preconceptions, but who share a passion to discover and pursue knowledge on their own.
All those who aspire to become scholars with a deep understanding of their own field and eagerness to develop it academically.
Global citizens who have a desire to develop their own academic research from an interdisciplinary and international perspective.
